This 2205 duplex stainless steel lock nut is forged and machined, owning a mixed microstructure of austenite and ferrite. It adopts anti-loosening structure with high precision thread and excellent vibration resistance. It features high mechanical strength and superior corrosion resistance against chloride pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Matched with bolts/studs of the same material to prevent galvanic corrosion from dissimilar metals.

Suitable for heavy-load conditions with strong corrosion and continuous vibration, such as offshore wind power, offshore platforms, steel bridges, mining heavy machinery and railway equipment. It can serve stably for long time under coastal salt spray and humid medium environments.
