This slotted hex nut is forged and machined with axial slots on all six hexagonal sides, assembled with split pins to achieve positive mechanical anti-loosening effect. Made of 2205 duplex stainless steel with austenite-ferrite dual-phase microstructure, its yield strength is much higher than ordinary 304 and 316L stainless steel. It has outstanding resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Precision rolled threads with full tooth profile. When matched with bolts of the same material, galvanic corrosion caused by dissimilar metals can be avoided.
